THE 2ND ANNUAL KAM FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 17TH, 2011 @ THE LOS ALTOS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, LOS ALTOS CA. REGISTRATION STARTS @ 10AM AND SHOTGUN START STARTS @ NOON.

IN AUGUST , WE AGAIN MADE A RUN TO COSTCO FOR FOOD ITEMS TO PROVIDE TO PAMF FOR THOSE PATIENTS UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENT. IT WAS MET WITH OPEN ARMS AND EXTREME APPRECIATION. WITH THE SUPPORT OF ALL, WE ARE PLEASE TO CONTINUE THIS PART OF OUR MISSION. THANK YOU!

2010 San Francisco AVON Breast Cancer Walk

On July 10-11, we participated in the SF AVON BREAST CANCER WALK. On Saturday we walked 28 miles (due to route error) followed by 13 miles on Sunday. Overall, our team raised over $14,000! The entire walk raised more than $5 MILLION. We would like to thank everyone who donated to our team…it was a great success.

KAM FOUNDATION MADE ANOTHER $5,000 DONATION TO THE PALO ALTO MEDICAL FOUNDATION (PAMF) IN DECEMBER 2009

WE ALSO PROVIDED MORE FOOD FOR THOSE PATIENTS GOING THROUGH TREATMENT AND SUPPLIED 10 $50.00 FOOD GIFT CARDS TO THE PAMF TO DISTRIBUTE TO THOSE FAMILIES WHO NEED IT MOST

WE DONATED 10 MORE BEAN BAGS TO THE GROUP TO BE USED DURING/AFTER TREATMENT

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THOSE WHO HELPED US THROUGH OUR FIRST YEAR WITH THE FOUNDATION AND HOPE TO PROVIDE FUTURE ASSISTANCE TO POSITIVELY AFFECT THOSE GOING THROUGH TREATMENT.

KAM FOUNDATION RECENT HIGHLIGHTS OCT 2009

As of October 2009 we have raised nearly $20,000 to assist with our mission

We made our initial donation of $5,000 to the Camino Medical Group to be used for those patients who require financial assistance for medical bills/medicine co-pays

We went shopping for and donated multiple candy and snacks for patients to eat following their treatments. Here is a list of some of the items: peanut butter pretzels, wheat thins, cup of noodles, protein shakes, peanut m&m’s, gum, trail mix, granola bars, cookies, ritz crackers

We made and donated 14 “bean bags” that the staff can use to heat up and use to comfort patients receiving treatment

No official event has been announced, but we are currently getting ready for next year and will post it once it is finalized

OC Rugby presents the annual Pink Jersey, Pink Tie charity event, with proceeds to benefit the KAM Foundation.

Join us at Rocca Field on Treasure Island at 1pm for the match, then later at 7:30pm at the W Hotel for a cocktail reception and silent auction.
